Westfield Shopping Centre, Albany.
ASSA ABLOY was proud to offer door closers and furniture to match the state of the art feel of the building and yet withstand the high usage of such a busy arts centre. The Lockwood Slide Arm Door Closer was chosen for its smooth running and adjustable power with delayed opening function. The closer is particularly suited for environments where children, disabled or the aged may enter. To complete the contemporary design the Lockwood 1800 Square End Mortice Latch furniture with bevelled edges and concealed fixing was chosen to work alongside the clean and modern lines of the building.
Columbus Coffee at Smales Farm
On this project ASSA ABLOY initiated an adaptation of the Interlock Level Compression Lock to suit the timber application. This lock is a particularly popular choice in such applications as it provides four points of locking within the door and generates high seal pressure to give improved water and air seal performance. Finally, the contemporary Aria Lever on Palladium was used with matching Aria Level Twin Bolt to complete the look.
Sloper Avenue Trackside Flexibility
Comprising a mix of light industrial ground floor tenancies and office/apartment tenancies on the upper level, the project effectively utilises Henderson’s Flexirol Multidirectional 200 system to operate a series of cedar slat and translucent polycarbonate screens on the balconies. The Henderson system provided an ideal solution by allowing the screens to be folded completely to one side of the 10m wide balconies for optimum race viewing. Alternatively, the entire balcony can be completely or partially enclosed by the 1650mm wide by 2700mm high aluminium framed screens to suit the particular requirements of the tenant.
